There is one Grand Prize winner in each category (Professional and Student). These overall winners will receive a valuable prize package including goods and services from various photography-related vendors. Their work will receive major recognition in the 2009 Tell Us A Story printed winners book, copies of which will be distributed to top NYC advertising agencies.

The jury will also award runner-up honors to several standout entries. These "jurors' selection" images will also be included in the Tell Us A Story 2009 printed book. Each photographer whose work is selected will win a copy of the book.

A celebratory book launch party will take place in May 2009, in New York City.
